What is enlightenment really? “Only by recognizing your true nature!”
Figuratively speaking, you recognize that you are a player, not a game character,
and as a player, you are outside the game, and therefore invulnerable to it.
So you sit at the computer, play some kind of game, and after playing, you forget who you really are, you confused yourself with the character of the game.
Mistakenly, you began to take on all the problems of the character of the game, while you just play it; however, your game is strictly determined by the conditions of the game and the characteristics of the character. There is nothing you can do! But nothing needs to be changed with the person, you just need to recognize who you really are.
And once you experienced yourself outside the boundaries of this game, recognized your true nature and remembered who you really are. This is called enlightenment.
So tell me now: should the behavior of the character of your game change if it has nothing to do with you, recognizing yourself outside the game and identifying yourself with the character of the game?
The player recognized that he was out of the game, that he was not a character, why should the character’s behavior due to the game change?
Why change it? And most importantly - for what? There was a game in which the character did something there according to the plot of the game, and the player, confusing himself with the character, suffered and was afraid for himself, although it was completely groundless.
But now the player finally recognized that he was outside the game, so now what do the character do, go back and forth in the "inspired height"? Why's that?
But why is this character behavior more interesting for the player?
Why is one character behavior better than another if you recognize that both are illusory, and you yourself are outside the game?
Would you rather be a player who is a character who is estranged from the world? And what would he do? Did you pick your nose? Is there a game outside the world?
You do not need to change the character’s behavior, but recognize that you are not a character, that you are outside the game, and then any game will be ananda, and then samsara will automatically turn into nirvana, because this is a game without consequences, the player is outside the game, nothing can happen to him.
A player who realizes himself outside the game begins to play without fear, with all his pleasure, because all games without consequences, they are given in experience, as woven by perception, but not existing in reality.
You have nothing to fear, therefore, you do not need any “exalted spirituality”, and even more so “rejection of the worldly”, because there is no other besides the worldly, there is no game without the world, you don’t want to be in permanent pralaya?
All experiences are equally beautiful and interesting, but the player does not choose his game.
Total: if you recognize that you are not a game character, that you are outside the game, then the question of changing the behavior of the character disappears by itself.
Otherwise, you do not understand the essence of enlightenment.
Among the seekers there is still such an opinion that since you recognized that you are not a person, it means that you are not interested in personality problems anymore.
Question: what then interests you?
This is a wrong opinion, because if you recognize that you are not the hero of the game, but a player outside it, then does he really cease to be interested in the affairs of the game hero? On the contrary, the game continues with great excitement, but now without fear for itself, because if the hero dies or loses, there will be nothing with the player, he will start a new game.
But you do not stop playing a computer game just because you know that you are not the hero of your game? You do not turn off the computer, because that would mean pralaya.
And what's the point of it, if you don’t even know in it what you are?
Your true nature is nothing, you cannot play the pure "I am", because it is identical to its absence! And this is pralaya.
Therefore, the game not only does not end, it continues with a double interest in any details, but now you play with fearlessness, because this game has no consequences for the player.
Just understand that you cannot play your true nature, because it is so worthless that it has no name and is expressed only in terms of denial: neti-neti.
What will you do with it? This is pralaya!
But if you want ananda, then these are manifested consciousnesses (bubbles of perception) in which the world, person and the knowledge of “I am” arise and disappear at the same time.
Therefore, the person will be in any game, but in one there is some little animal, in another person, and in the third there is an avatar or deity.

POWER OF MIND. WHAT IS ENLIGHTENMENT?
This book is a collection of answers by Lakshmi, the creator and mentor of the forum "To questions about self-realization" (www.selfrealization.info), to questions from forum participants.
In her conversations, she reveals the essence of the teachings of masters of the distant and recent past - Ramana Maharshi, Nisargadatta Maharaja, Padmasambhava, Sekida Katsuki and others.
In his explanations, Lakshmi often draws parallels between advaita and the European esoteric tradition in order to draw the reader's attention to the idea or principle behind each specific symbol.
The convincing and uncompromising bluntness of Lakshmi's words deprives the conceptual support and exposes the illusion of the existence of a separate "I", turning over the familiar picture of the world.
Regarding the practices described in the book, Lakshmi repeatedly repeats that a deep understanding and mastery of at least one of them will be enough to come to the Source.
