Ingredients:
1 tablespoon of olive oil
300 g fresh chopped mushrooms
1 large onion, chopped
4 slices of bacon, chopped
3/4 cup thick cream
1 cup grated Swiss cheese salt and pepper to taste
1 teaspoon chopped fresh dill
1 (500 g) pack of frozen puff pastry, thaw
1 egg whipped
Cooking:
It doesn’t take much time to prepare this delicious pie, because frozen puff pastry is used. And for the filling, you can choose both ordinary mushrooms, for example, champignons or ceps, and a winter mushroom - to your taste.
Preheat the oven to 175 degrees C.
Heat the oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Add mushrooms, onions and bacon, and cook, stirring, for about 5 minutes or until vegetables are soft. Reduce heat to medium and add cream and dill, mix and cook for about 10 minutes. Remove from heat and add grated cheese.
Place one sheet of puff pastry on a well-oiled baking sheet, pour the mushroom filling on top. Cover with another sheet, and then press the edges together to seal. If you wish, you can make a wicker cake. Make a few holes in the top layer with a fork. Lubricate with beaten egg.
Bake for about 40 minutes in a preheated oven, or until golden brown. Chill, then cut into squares to serve.
