School marketing as the promotion of various products in schools and other children's institutions is quite common in European countries.

According to studies by well-known and respected experts, about 90% of English companies advertise their products in schools.


And in Finland, the promotion of a variety of products in the school environment is even more widespread than in the UK. In addition, events to promote all kinds of brands in institutions for children are held in Germany, Holland and France.


But in Denmark, on the contrary, marketing activities in educational institutions for children are absolutely prohibited. It is clear that the introduction of marketing in the school cannot but cause controversy and discussion on the part of the public.


Parents are concerned about one question: is it right for children to impose an opinion on certain products. Indeed, compulsory attendance is accepted in schools, and children, exposed to advertising, cannot get up and leave.


On the other hand, psychologists noted in children a low level of criticality in the perception of such information. At the same time, product promotion in schools is positive, as children learn something new and useful for themselves, as well as learn to shop consciously.
